I agree with the blue. I love blue and would have a blue car in a perfect world, but I guess I can't be drawn away from black cars.

I'd literally drive any color car and like anything that is unusual or out of the ordinary.
I almost bought purple E30 awhile back but it sold from under me.

Seems to me the only reason to not get a color you like is you would be afraid of what others would think. Screw that. Drive what you like. My car is bright blue. They even gave it a stupid name: Blu By You. I like the name the rest of the world uses better: Pacific Blue. I call it see it see it from space blue.

i always loved black cars and then my mom got one. If its left outside for more than an hour in the summer or winter ...orrr spring or fall it just looks like crap.

Black looks sooooo good when it's clean, but like crap the other 99.78% of the time. I did buy a black Rabbit GTI ages ago, and will never, ever do that again unless I have someone on staff to keep my cars looking perfect after every drive.

Surely there are some things in life that you love but would be completely bonkers for you to have; whether it's for practical reasons, vanity reasons, or a variety of other reasons. No? In my life and most other people's lives, love doesn't conquer all. I also love the great outdoors, but it would be unpractical for me to get a cabin in mountains.

You're quite right. Except for this: there's no practical reason not to go for a colour. Depreciation? If I want it, I'll get it. No colour has influence on how your life is being lived.
